Sharon Haggerty is a Certified Clinical Anaplastologist at Custom Prosthetic, Ltd. in Tacoma, WA. She recently celebrated the clinic’s 30th anniversary where she specializes in providing custom facial and somatic prosthetics. Alongside her private practice, she also works with patients in the Maxillofacial Prosthodontics department at the University of Washington Dental School.
Sharon earned her Master of Associated Medical Sciences (MAMS) degree in 1989 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, which she completed in 1986. She has been a member of the International Anaplastology Association for 38 years and served as the president of the Board for Certification in Clinical Anaplastology for six years.
Her interests in anaplastology include materials science and supporting patients as they navigate the mental health challenges that often accompany physical diagnoses or symptoms.
